What is the Mission of The Biotech Forum?
The Biotech Forum is a regional organization created to provide practical business information and networking opportunities among executives, entrepreneurs, scientists and investors focused on the biotech, medical device and healthcare industries along the “101 Corridor”. This area spans the Los Angeles, Ventura and Santa Barbara counties.
During the past several years, we have seen increasing interest from individuals seeking to start new biotech and related healthcare companies in this region. In order to successfully support the launch of such new ventures, it is imperative that these executives, entrepreneurs and investors have sufficient resources and relationships which they can draw upon.
The Biotech Forum aspires to be the leading organization along the 101 Corridor for bringing together the resources necessary to assist in the development and scalable growth of biotech and healthcare start-ups. Our goal is to create a powerful ecosystem where such companies can flourish.
We believe there is a unique opportunity for the 101 Corridor to experience the rapid development of a significant number of companies in the biotech, medical device and healthcare space.
With your help, The Biotech Forum will become the leading catalyst for fostering the growth of such new ventures for the benefit of all of our members as well as for the larger community.

What is the typical Member profile?
Typical Biotech Forum Members are executives, entrepreneurs, scientists and investors in the biotech community along the 101 Corridor spanning Los Angeles, Ventura and Santa Barbara.
Membership in the Forum is by invitation only and is subject to review by our Membership Committee. We place a high value on having the right people in the organization to maximize the networking, collaboration and educational activities of the group.
We require as a condition to membership that all members actively participate in our networking and social events as well as our educational seminars and symposiums. Please be aware that we have a strict “no solicitation” policy, which is necessary for establishing any network based on a strong foundation of mutual trust.

Are there any Membership Fees or costs to join?

How can I attend an event?
The Biotech Forum events are by invitation only. In order to attend an event, registration is required. Please click here for the online Registration Form. All Biotech Forum Members will receive invitations to every educational and social event through out the year. Biotech Forum Members are welcome to bring a guest. Guests must submit the Registration Form to attend.

Are there any costs to attend an event?
Registration is required for all Biotech Forum events. Educational events are $195 per person and social events are $75 per person. Please visit our Events page for information on our future educational and social events. For Biotech Forum Members, costs to attend are waived for all events within the calendar year.
